PVA is an indispensable and biodegradable raw material for strategic emerging industries, including new energy and optoelectronic displays, as well as high-value sectors, such as textiles, construction, and pharmaceuticals. In everyday products, PVA is used in a wide variety of applications, from acting as a moisture magnet in facial masks to fortifying safety glass in automobiles and high-speed trains.
The capacity upgrade could enhance the security and stability of the global supply chain for this essential polymer, the company said.
