Sinopec Chongqing opens new 50,000-ton state-of-the-art PVA line

Sinopec Chongqing SVW Chemical has recently begun operations at a new state-of-the-art polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) production line, bringing the company's PVA production capacity to 210,000 tons per year. [Photo by Chen Lin/For chinadaily.com.cn]

Located in Chongqing's Changshou district, SVW Chemical is the only natural gas chemical enterprise under Sinopec. It is also the largest fine chemical and new materials enterprise in China's natural gas sector and a leader in the nation's natural gas chemical industry.
