Cross-border travel projected to rise 18.5 pct during China's National Day holiday

Driven by a surge in demand for cross-border tourism, China is projected to see 1.75 million inbound and outbound trips per day during the upcoming National Day holiday period, up 18.5 percent year on year, authorities said on Friday.
