This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Fund, continuing its decade-long commitment to child welfare, with a focus on helping migrant parents' return home for family reunions.
In Jumuyuan village, Yanchuan county, Yan'an, Shaanxi province, the fund enabled a ride-hailing driver to reunite with his children after more than six months apart. The family later visited the Chang'an Lantern Festival together, creating cherished holiday memories. By facilitating these reunions, the initiative fulfilled children's favorite wish, emphasizing that the greatest New Year gift is time with the family.

On February 1, with support from local women's federations and foundations, the Little Migratory Birds Spring Festival Gathering Fair was held at a KFC restaurant in downtown Xi'an. Literature and history writer Ma Youning shared the origins of the Spring Festival and Xi'an's New Year traditions, encouraging active interaction among children and parents.
Aligned with the ongoing Chang'an Lantern Festival, the event featured a lantern-making workshop where families crafted lanterns, experiencing traditional culture and strengthening bonds.
Afterwards, participants climbed the Xi'an City Wall, hung their handmade lanterns, and toured the festival. The lanterns displayed throughout the festival, became a vivid cultural highlight on the ancient city wall. As children recited a classic poem in unison, the glowing lanterns illuminated their smiles, leaving them with lasting Spring Festival memories.
