AVATR 12 arrives in Antarctica for polar testing mission

At 6 am (Beijing time) on Dec 7, an AVATR 12 luxury sedan, manufactured in Chongqing, was gently lowered onto the Antarctic ice sheet from the polar research vessel  Xuelong, marking the beginning of its polar testing mission at the Antarctic Central Station. It is the world's first NEV to set foot on the frozen continent. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
