Location: Luoyang
Frequency: Annual
Dates: From April throughout Labor Day holiday
The Peony Cultural Festival of Luoyang is a comprehensive economic and cultural event that combines the enjoyment of peony blossoms, lantern shows, tourism, and trade cooperation and exchange. In 2024, Luoyang celebrated its 40th Peony Cultural Festival. It has become a platform for economic development and cooperation, a window display, a bridge for the city to connect with the world, and an aid for the world to understand Luoyang.
During the festival, parks such as Wangcheng Park, the Sui and Tang Dynasties City Ruins Botanical Garden, and the China National Flower Garden host a variety of activities, including peony viewing tours, cultural performances, and events catering to young consumers. These activities provide visitors with a rich and diverse peony viewing experience. The festival takes place annually from April until the Labor Day holiday in early May, offering a delightful springtime attraction.
