He is currently a postgraduate studying comparative education at Shaanxi Normal University. In his spare time, he is interested in food and hopes to become a food blogger.

He has a food workshop at his home, with all kinds of kitchen utensils, stoves, tea sets, dishes, a long table and six chairs for tasting food, as well as equipment for shooting food videos, such as special lights, cameras and tripods.

He Hao opened a Douyin account to introduce the cuisine of his hometown to Chinese netizens.

During gatherings, He often cooks Turkish food for his friends. In addition to Turkish food, He also likes Xi'an food such as biangbiang noodles, spicy soup, and paomo (shredded pita bread soaked in mutton or beef soup).

He said that he has been to many places in China and tried a wide variety of food, but his favorite is Xi'an cuisine. He explained that the food of Xi'an is like its people - simple and enthusiastic.

"As a Turk, I like Xi'an's food, history and culture."
