Artist Xiao Yingchuan is known for making prints exuberant with passion of life. His works are marked with a vivid, intensive palette: the blue sky, glittering sunset and maroon soil. Xiao incorporated his experiences with print making over the years into his watercolors to present a beauty of simplicity.
Walking on the Ground, Xiao's one-man exhibition at Guangdong Museum of Art in Guangzhou, juxtaposes his prints and watercolors to reflect his love for nature. In his works, he portrays his take on an ideal life and his vision of the world. The show runs till June 12.
