The Museum of Shaanxi Normal University is the first comprehensive museum of education in China. It is located on the university’s Chang'an campus with a total construction area of 23,000 square meters, including an exhibition area of 7,000 square meters. The museum has a collection of about 10,000 pieces of art and cultural relics.

It was designed by the famous architect Zhang Jinqiu, who is also an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Its courtyard-like architecture boasts first-class facilities, and its simple but elegant style offers a traditional charm with distinctive modern features.

The museum is divided into several areas with the themes of Chinese education, women's culture, calligraphy and painting arts, history and culture, and the history of the university. It integrates the functions of education, research, collection, cultural protection and art display.

It plays a unique and important role in building a new platform for education, serving teaching and scientific research, aiding social public education, highlighting the characteristics of teacher education and school management, and inheriting excellent Chinese traditional culture.
