Between 5,900 and 3,700 years ago, the Shijiahe site in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River was home to one of the largest, longest-lasting, and most socially complex settlement clusters discovered to date in the region. The Shijiahe Culture flourished across the Jianghan Plain in Tianmen, Hubei province, leaving behind remarkable treasures.

Now, discover its legacy at the Shanxi Museum's bronze branch, where the exhibition Jade from the Jianghan Plain: Artifacts from the Shijiahe Site in Tianmen, Hubei brings together precious pottery, jade objects, and clay figurines.
