Jinzhong city in Shanxi province has been included in the inaugural list of "China's Top Ten Sweet Cities", according to the China City Sweet Index Report (2026) released by China Media Group in collaboration with authoritative research institutions, embarking on a new chapter of cultural and tourism development.
The report introduces and defines the concept of "Sweet Cities", a new urban brand paradigm. This concept encompasses natural environment, cultural revitalization, industrial empowerment, humanistic character, life experience, and brand communication. Through the in-depth tracking and analysis of samples from 60 typical cities nationwide, the report identifies the first 10 representative sweet cities.
