A new exhibition at the National Museum of China in Beijing explores the architectural legacy of Andrea Palladio (1508-80), one of the most influential masters of the Italian Renaissance. Through drawings, models, and historical materials, the exhibition traces Palladio’s creative journey from antiquity to classicism.
The exhibition also features exquisite artifacts related to traditional Chinese architecture, creating a fascinating dialogue between architectural traditions from different cultures.
