A Research Exhibition of the Beijing-Tianjin Artistic Community, now on view at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, traces influential artistic groups such as the Chinese Painting Research Association and the Hushe Painting Association and maps out their creative paths and scholarly exchanges during the first half of the 20th century.
Featuring nearly 200 works by more than 100 artists, the exhibition brings to life a defining artistic vision of the time — grounded in classical traditions, yet open to new ideas.
