The "Charm of Cashmere · Yulin Fashion" Yulin Cashmere Product Promotion and Fashion Show was held on November 26 at the Bovala Palace in Milan, Italy.

Political and business representatives, industry leaders, renowned designers, and media representatives from both China and Italy gathered together to showcase the strength of Yulin's cashmere industry through three major activities—a promotion session, a fashion show, and B2B matchmaking. The event highlighted the quality and cultural appeal of Yulin, the "Chinese Cashmere Capital" in Shaanxi province, and built a bridge for deeper cross-border cooperation.

Francesco Vassallo, deputy mayor of the Metropolitan City of Milan, welcomed the event and expressed Milan's willingness to open broader cooperation channels for Yulin's cashmere industry, anticipating deeper integration between Yulin's high-quality raw materials and Italian fashion craftsmanship.

Zheng Dongli, deputy consul general of Chinese Consulate General in Milan, emphasized that the event vividly reflects the complementary strengths of Chinese and Italian industries and reaffirmed the consulate's full support for continued cross-border exchanges.

He Xiangru, deputy mayor of Yulin Municipal People's Government, introduced Yulin's cashmere sector from the perspectives of urban heritage, industrial capabilities, and future development vision.

He extended a sincere invitation to Italian fashion professionals to deepen cooperation in technological innovation, design integration, and market development, noting that Yulin will provide high-quality services to safeguard win-win industrial collaboration between the two countries.

Three leading Yulin enterprises—Yingguo Industrial, Yulin Yanglaoda, and Yulin Munsell Clothing Co Ltd.—then presented their respective industrial strengths. Yingguo Industrial highlighted Yulin's advantage as China's "cold-climate wool clothing hub" and shared its core competitiveness in industrial deep cultivation. Yulin Yanglaoda showcased the innovative outcomes of "aerospace cotton," jointly developed with China's aerospace sector, and expressed plans to expand globally through Italian design and branding expertise.

Yulin Munsell Clothing Co Ltd focuses on its high-tech merino wool ski apparel and explored cooperation with the European market through brand licensing and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cooperation models.

Following the promotion meeting, a cooperation signing ceremony was successfully held. Partnership agreements were signed between Yingguo Industrial and Bordeti, and Shaanxi Tuocheng Cashmere Technology Co Ltd and Onifos, marking the transition to substantive industrial collaboration between Yulin and Italy.

The highlight of the event—the fashion show—presented Yulin cashmere's quality, versatility, and design potential through a stunning visual performance.

Models took to the runway wearing an array of Yulin cashmere pieces. Designers skillfully leveraged the softness and unique texture of cashmere to create looks ranging from high-end fashion to light outdoor styles, blending Eastern aesthetics with Italian fashion sensibilities.

Each garment demonstrated the exceptional feel and adaptability of Yulin cashmere, allowing guests to directly experience the craftsmanship and innovative design behind the "Chinese Cashmere Capital," further strengthening confidence in its international market potential.

After the show, the B2B matchmaking and static showcase areas remained lively. These sessions provided an efficient platform for Chinese and Italian companies to connect, helping transform cooperation interests into concrete outcomes.

Italian brand representatives and buyers engaged in in-depth discussions on product features, production techniques, and partnership models, with many expressing immediate interest in collaboration.

This event not only showcased the superior quality and industrial capacity of Yulin cashmere, but also strengthened the cultural and economic ties between the fashion industries of China and Italy.

Looking ahead, Yulin will use the momentum from its Milan showcase to deepen cross-border cooperation, promote design innovation, and further elevate the global influence of the "Chinese Cashmere Capital."
