When "made in China" met European elegance: Armorial porcelain – Chinese-made porcelain decorated with European coats of arms – was once among the finest of all export ware. Now, a collection of 18th-19th-century Chinese armorial porcelain from the Tianjin Museum has arrived at the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing. Their rich colors, ornate motifs, and stylish designs tell stories of cultural exchange between East and West.
