The Baima kiln site complex in Huizhou is the largest Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) kiln site discovered in Guangdong. It was once a key production center for export porcelain.
At the Museum of the Two Mausoleums of the Southern Han State in Guangzhou, a new exhibition showcases exquisite imitations of Longquan-style celadon unearthed from the Baima kiln and other kilns in Guangdong. Through these artifacts, visitors can glimpse the vibrant scene of cultural and technological exchange that flourished along Guangdong's ancient maritime routes.
