The Shenyang Imperial Palace was built in 1625 by Nurhaci (1559-1626), the founding ruler of the Later Jurchen Jin Dynasty (1616-36). Now, after 400 years, the Shenyang Palace Museum is holding a commemorative exhibition, inviting you to admire the palace's architectural layout and exquisite court artifacts and to trace its rise, decline, and revival.
