15 Hangzhou entrepreneurs honored as drivers of Zhejiang's modernization

Fifteen entrepreneurs from Hangzhou-based companies have recently been recognized by the Zhejiang Provincial Government as Outstanding Contributors to Zhejiang's Modernization, one of the highest honors in the province's private sector.

The award highlights Hangzhou's strong innovative capacity and its leading role in driving Zhejiang's high-quality development.

This year's recipients include Feng Ji, founder and CEO of Game Science, the Hangzhou studio behind Black Myth: Wukong, China's first AAA game; and Zhu Jiangming, founder and CEO of Leapmotor, a rising force in the country's intelligent new-energy vehicle industry. Their achievements reflect the dynamism, creativity, and global vision that characterize Hangzhou's private economy.

The recognition, granted to 50 entrepreneurs province-wide, underscores Zhejiang's commitment to strengthening its signature private economy. Hangzhou's 15 honorees — spanning digital technology, advanced manufacturing, cultural creativity, and aviation — demonstrate the city's growing influence as a hub for new quality productive forces.

For Hangzhou, the honor also affirms the city's role as a key contributor to Zhejiang's goal of building a demonstration zone for common prosperity. As private enterprises continue to lead in innovation, entrepreneurship, and global engagement, Hangzhou is set to play an even greater part in shaping the province's next chapter of modernization.
