The Palace Museum unveils its latest exhibition today at the Palace of Eternal Longevity (Yongshou Gong), showcasing the archaeological discoveries and excavation processes from the site of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) Imperial Workshops in the museum's western sector over the past five years. From layers of former dynasties to traces of craftsmanship, the exhibition reveals the rich underground heritage of the Forbidden City and invites visitors to uncover the hidden history of how artisans once served the court.
