The FISITA Intelligent Safety Conference (ISC) 2025 was held from Sept 13 to 14 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
The ISC 2025 aimed to facilitate discussions on safe solutions to autonomous driving, promote the development and application of autonomous driving safety technology, and provide new ideas and paths forward for the safe and sustainable development of global intelligent connected vehicles.
Zhang Jinhua, director of the China Society of Automotive Engineers, spoke at the conference. He said that in the first half of this year, the penetration rate of L2 level assisted driving for passenger cars reached 62.1 percent, and the pilot program for L3/L4 level autonomous driving access and testing is steadily advancing.
Faced with new security challenges, it is necessary to improve top-level design, promote the development of policies and regulations, strengthen research on security testing and evaluation technology, enhance collaboration between the global and industrial ecosystems, build a security guarantee system, and promote the healthy development of the industry.
Li Yuqi, secretary of the leading Party members group of the Shaanxi Association for Science and Technology, said the association will take this conference as an opportunity, continue to deepen the collaborative mechanism of "industry-academy-research-application", accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and contribute to the high-quality development of China's intelligent connected vehicle industry.
During the conference, over 50 presentations brought cutting-edge technologies and concepts to the attendees. Over half of the speakers were from abroad, injecting diverse international perspectives into the conference and promoting the exchange of ideas in autonomous driving safety worldwide.
