At Sichuan Museum, a special exhibition is now open to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the World Anti-Fascist War.
With 306 artifacts from 49 cultural and archival institutions across China, alongside a wealth of precious historical photographs, the exhibition vividly recreates the powerful story of how the people of Sichuan—across all walks of life—stood united to defend the nation.
