Hangzhou exhibition reviews CAA artists' pursuit of Dunhuang legacy

The Art Museum of the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, is now hosting the exhibition The Wall and the Road: Passing on the Flame. Through Dunhuang-themed art collections and archival materials, the review retraces the deep ties between the academy and Dunhuang, shedding light on how China's leading art institutions in the 20th century preserved, researched, and inherited the legacy of Dunhuang art, ensuring its brilliance still inspires today.
