Miao ethnic parade welcomes autumn in Hunan

Tens of thousands of people joined in a grand parade of the Miao ethnic group earlier this month to welcome autumn at Pailiao village in Huayuan county of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture, Hunan province.
Representatives of each village dressed in traditional costumes to walk along streets. Some performed martial arts, some performed dragon and lion dancing, and others sang folk songs or played the drums.
