This August, the Jiangsu Kunqu Opera Theatre's fifth-generation performers will present the youth edition of A Dream Under the Southern Bough—their first major ensemble production. A revival of the romantic classic by Tang Xianzu (1550-1616), the performance promises fresh energy and timeless artistry.
