These Huishan clay figurines are now on view at Nanjing Museum. Dating from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to the present day, these vibrant artworks from the Jiangnan region have charmed generations. Once used as children's toys or home décor, or for praying for good luck, they now stand as living memories of southern China's warm folk culture.
