On May 24, performers from Minhou county's Minju Opera Arts Center prepared backstage to present Minju Opera—a 400-year-old art form recognized as part of China's national intangible cultural heritage from Fujian province. Through an innovative "theater-to-village" initiative, traditional rural cinema screenings have transformed into immersive live performances, bringing this regional cultural treasure directly to countryside audiences.
