Having arrived in Jiangsu province with dreams in their hearts, international students at Nantong College of Science and Technology in East China's Jiangsu province are leaving behind vibrant impressions on the city and carrying Nantong's stories to the world.
"Welcome to the daily life vlogs of our international students!" This cheerful invitation marks the beginning of each video shared by Naya, a dynamic student-turned-social media influencer. Since launching her first vlog in 2023, she has filmed over 260 videos, documenting everything from campus routines and university-organized events to cafeteria cuisine and scenic travels. Her content has resonated strongly within the school community and beyond.
Motivated by a desire to "capture the beauty of my memories here", Naya's short videos offer a rich, authentic glimpse into student life in China. Whether singing alongside friends in international talent competitions, wearing traditional blue calico attire during campus sports days, or participating in cultural exchange programs with local children, she captures and shares these cherished moments with heartfelt creativity.
The enthusiastic responses from her followers have fueled her continued storytelling. "I am privileged to shed light on China for more individuals!" she said, reflecting on the impact of her digital journey.

"I will forever cherish this gift from China!" Even upon resuming work in Bangladesh, Mijan holds dear a 2020 memento—a canvas tote adorned with giant pandas, traditional floral and avian embroidery, and a heartfelt note of gratitude. Amid the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak, Mijan remained in China to pursue his studies. Utilizing his scholarship, he purchased COVID-19 testing kits and masks to send back to his hometown, a gesture that earned him the esteemed "Best Friendship Award" from the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh.
Based on his experiences during the pandemic and his contributions to Bangladesh's fight against COVID-19, Mijan created a short video titled Beyond the Pandemic. Through the video, many people could tangibly feel the real student life in China during the pandemic and the efforts made by China during the crisis. Mijan spoke in fluent Chinese, "I am proud to study in China and proud to help my homeland."
Since 2016, Nantong College of Science and Technology has welcomed over 400 students from the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. Many of these individuals have returned to their home countries, leveraging their experiences to make meaningful impacts across various sectors.
