Shandong's Heze welcomes tourists with spring charm

This spring, Heze, Shandong province, has gone all out to pamper its visitors, with a series of heartwarming initiatives launched to welcome tourists.

The city has sent out text messages inviting people to come enjoy the peony blossoms. During the 2025 World Peony Conference and the 34th Heze International Peony Cultural Tourism Festival, which are set to commence soon, the city initiated a "city-wide parking space opening" campaign, encouraging government agencies, enterprises, and residents to open up their parking lots for free to tourists.

Heze's public transportation and urban decorations have also been given a "peony makeover". Bus stops are adorned with peony flowers, and traffic lights are designed in the shape of peonies with slogans like "yield to out-of-town vehicles" showcasing the city's hospitality and charm.

Additionally, Heze has also prepared a "peony feast" for visitors, with delicacies like peony flower pastries and peony-themed banquets, hoping to create comfortable experiences for visitors.
