Shanxi is also known as Jin, which derives from the Jin State during the Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-256 BC). An ongoing exhibition at the Zhengzhou Museum in Henan showcases exquisite Zhou Dynasty artifacts from the Shanxi region. These treasures, all significant archaeological finds, offer a glimpse into the rise and fall of the Jin State over 2,000 years ago.
