The Jin State was a typical ancient Chinese state during the Western and Eastern Zhou dynasties (c.11th century-256 BC), mostly spanning present-day Shanxi province.
Numerous cultural relics discovered from archaeological excavations in Shanxi provide clues about the development trajectory of the Jin State over its history of more than 600 years. Here is a chance to glimpse them in an exhibition unveiled at the Changsha Museum in Hunan province on Dec 1. Diverse bronze ware from the collection of the Shanxi Museum is on display. Check it out until March 17!
