The immersive theatrical production Echoes of Dunhuang was staged as a trial in Dunhuang, Gansu province, on May 31. This remarkable production looks back into the origins of Dunhuang culture, drawing inspiration from the profound interpretations of the Mogao Grottoes murals and the ancient scriptures discovered in the Cangjing Cave, known as the "Library Cave".
