Actor Wang Hang from Shaanxi captivated the audience at the 31st China Theatre Plum Blossom with his performance in the historical Qinqiang Opera The Poet Sage Du Fu at the Guangzhou Bud Theater on May 9.
Based on the history of the Tang Dynasty, the production chronicles Du Fu's journey through various challenges and trials, depicting his life story through historical events such as the An Lushan Rebellion (755-63).
