The 8th China Dance Festival concluded in Kunming, capital city of South China’s Yunnan province, on April 15. The dance drama Ashima was performed during the closing ceremony. Fantastic show! Check out the stage photos here!

The dance drama was inspired by the ethnic Yi fable of Ashima, a beautiful young woman who rejects an evil lord son's proposal to pursue her true love.
