The rabbit is the fourth of 12 zodiac animals. Here is a Sui Dynasty (581-618) set of 12 pottery figurines with zodiac animal heads. The rabbit-head figurine wears a long gown with a crossed collar and loose sleeves.
Excavated from a Sui Dynasty tomb on Mafang Mountain in Wuchang district of Wuhan city, Hubei province, the figurine is part of the permanent collection of the Wuhan Museum.
