In 1972, the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24) Mawangdui tomb was discovered in Changsha, Hunan province. The Suzhou Museum unveiled an exhibit of cultural relics excavated from the Mawangdui tomb on Oct 18. More than 160 selected burial items, such as lacquer wares, pottery, inscribed slips and embroideries, are on display. The exhibit will run through Jan 29, 2023.
