Huizhou-style folk dwellings, originating in the area south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, are known for their exquisite carved art. Since Aug 11, the Datong Museum in Shanxi province has been holding an exhibit of stone and wood carvings from some of these buildings. The exhibit will run through Oct 11.
