The classic Qinqiang Opera piece The Flaming Foal was staged at the Grand Theater of the Xi'an Custom Renewal Society in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on June 15. One of the shows of the Ninth China Qinqiang Opera Art Festival, it is a love story set amid the political struggles in ancient China.
