Adapted from the South Korean production of same title, the musical Fan Letter will be staged at the Qingdao Grand Theater in Qingdao, Shandong province, on Sept 2 and 3. The work sheds light on the lives of young writers in Shanghai during the turbulent 1940s as well as their pursuit of art and love.
