Glazed potteries in North China shine with age

Color glazed potteries (liuli), widely used in North China’s Shanxi province, boast a long history dating to the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220). This clay craft continues of its innovation and development in modern times.

Shanxi Museum recently launched an exhibit showcasing more than 300 exquisite color-glazed vases, statues and other types of porcelain. Come and view a splendid collection.
