Produced by the Liaoning People’s Art Theater, the drama Scheme opened at the Zhonghua Theater in Shenyang, the capital city of the Northeast China’s Liaoning province. It depicts the suspenseful espionage war against Japanese invaders taking place at a business street in Shenyang in 1940. The drama’s production is supported by the China National Arts Fund.
