Zhong Nanshan: China's intensive 'suppression' strategy effective against COVID-19

China's intensive "suppression" strategy against COVID-19 has proven effective and efficient in containing the epidemic, said China's top respiratory expert Zhong Nanshan on Apr 16.

Zhong said this at a global webinar with tens of thousands of medical workers based in Europe, the United States and Africa that aimed to share China's experience of fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.
