Zhaojun Culture Festival opens with national dance drama

National dance drama Zhaojun is staged at the Wulanqiate Grand Theater in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on the evening of July 12. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The Zhaojun Culture Festival was first launched in 1999 in Hohhot and about 27 activities including cultural performances, exhibits and sport events will be held at this year’s cultural festival through to September.
