Yantai launches global communication platform

"We will take advantage of this global communication platform to show a comprehensive, objective, accurate and true side of Yantai, and build a bridge between the city and the world," he said.

Zhu Baoxia, China Daily secretary-general, said the launch of the platform is the result of a partnership between Yantai, a famous Chinese city, and China Daily, a reputed media group.

The platform will help promote Yantai's further opening-up to the world, the development of its cultural and tourism industry, overseas investment and people-to-people exchange, she said.
