Linfen hosts culture, tourism festival

The second Yaodu Culture and Tourism Festival opened in Yaodu district, Linfen city, in Shanxi province, on May 31. 

The festival was organized with eight events themed around culture and tourism -- including a forum, a seminar, a promotional investment fair and an ancestor worship ceremony, -- to promote Linfen city's profile and attract investment. 

More than 100 overseas Chinese, travel agents, business people and media groups from 28 countries attended the opening ceremony. 

The event runs until June 5.
