Student techies compete in Xiaoyi robot contest

A technology and robot competition opened for brainy students studying at schools in Xiaoyi, Shanxi province on Dec 24.

The event includes a special competition testing student innovation, a contest to build a robot with an educational purpose, and a unique challenge using the global robotics platform Makex.

The week-long event will involve more than 1,000 students, with fierce competition to design and build the best prototypes.
