Future Manufacturing-themed innovation challenge kicks off in Xi'an

Aligned with national innovation-driven development goals, the competition targets key tracks of future information, advanced manufacturing and future aerospace industries. It closely follows Xi'an's modern industrial system layout and 20 key industrial chains planned for the city's 15th Five-Year Plan.

Prioritizing enterprises as the main body of technological innovation, the competition adopts a demand-oriented model to connect industrial challenges with high-quality technical solutions across the country. It promotes the in-depth integration of technology, industry, talent and capital, and builds a comprehensive docking platform covering governments, industries, universities, research institutes, end users, investment institutions, service providers and industrial parks.

The platform is designed to cultivate high-quality innovative enterprises and outstanding entrepreneurial teams, and advance the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent resources.

According to the organizing committee, additional special sessions focusing on future information and advanced manufacturing will be launched soon. Continuous technical matchmaking services will be offered via a regular service platform after each themed event. Projects that achieve substantive technical cooperation will receive special financial support from Xi'an's municipal science and technology programs.
