In Yantai's Penglai district, international exchanges are opening up new opportunities for local industries to connect with global markets.

Wang Qingling, deputy director of Port Services Center in Penglai district, shares how the district is turning international partnerships into practical opportunities for local economic development. From wine and cultural tourism to marine engineering and offshore wind power, her work focuses on building connections, attracting investment, and helping local businesses expand into overseas markets.

For Wang, foreign affairs is about more than welcoming international guests. It is about building bridges between Penglai and the world and turning those connections into tangible results for local industries.
