​Industrial park in Xi'an hi-tech zone accelerates construction

The main structures of Phase III of the information industrial park in Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone are complete, with indoor and outdoor decoration, water and electricity installation, and landscape greening underway; the project is scheduled to be finished by the end of October.

The park is located in the core area of the Silk Road Science City. Phase III has a total investment of 535 million yuan ($79.94 million), with a total construction area of nearly 110,000 square meters. It plans to build 14 factory buildings to create high-standard modern industrial spaces and upgrade the park's industrial development strengths, boosting regional industrial competitiveness.

The project has now entered a critical phase of investment promotion. In-depth negotiations have been conducted with 15 enterprises, covering sectors such as intelligent manufacturing, software, and information technology. Agreements of intent have been signed with seven enterprises, accounting for nearly 75 percent of the intended leasing area.

The park will focus on attracting R&D and manufacturing enterprises in optoelectronic information, artificial intelligence, and other fields, further amplifying the industrial agglomeration advantages of the Silk Road Science City and contributing to the development of Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone.
