​Xi'an company achieves global expansion breakthrough

Xi'an Superconducting Wire Technologies Co put its first overseas production base in Larne, Northern Ireland, into operation on Sept 19, marking a new milestone in its global expansion.

The base is projected to create 41 high-quality jobs spanning production technology, R&D, operations, and management, as well as offering apprenticeship training opportunities to local young people. Products manufactured at the facility will be used in global superconducting magnetic resonance imaging systems, semiconductors, and major international scientific projects.

Over the next three to five years, the company plans to further boost investment and expand production capacity, strengthen local R&D capabilities, and build the Northern Ireland base into a key hub for the company to serve the European and global markets.
