A centuries-old mural returns to its homeland in a new exhibition in Beijing!
Now on view at the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum, the exhibition features a full-scale reproduction of the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) mural Buddha of Medicine Bhaishajyaguru, from the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, alongside more than 100 reproductions of ancient Chinese murals from regions along the ancient Silk Road. Together, these works explore the preservation, study, and renewal of China’s rich mural heritage.
